Fantastic commission news from Virgin Atlantic

Tuesday, March 9th, 2010

Good Morning

We are pleased to announce that we have brought our payment for global (non UK originated bookings) in line with our UK programme, meaning we will now pay the standard 2% commission of the GBP booking value on any booking in any territory, excluding the great introductory 3% commission for three months for all new affiliates.

This development is really important for us, as publishers can now be rewarded equally for all sales made in and outside of the UK. Bringing the remuneration process in line with our UK programme should make it easier for publishers to understand our programme and know exactly what they will be earning from the bookings they make. We are committed to our affiliate programme and to giving publishers great opportunities to maximise their earning potential and over the coming months we will be communicating more and more special offers from around the world.

The change came into play on 24 February so all transactions from this date will be paid for at the 2% rate, which is fantastic new for our publishers!

If you have any questions at all please feel free to contact me.

Veracitag launch increases tracked sales by up to 7%

Wednesday, August 27th, 2008

A few months back we launched our patent pending tracking technology called Veracitag.  Without going into the details of it too much (more on it here) the reason for its development was the seemingly increased reluctance of customers to accept or to retain cookies, ultimately ending in less commission for our affiliates.

Veracitag adds another level of tracking if the standard cookie or flash cookie (another piece of tracking technology we use) doesn’t drop or is subsequently deleted from their browser, and since its launch we are happy to say that we’ve tracked up to an additional 7% of sales/leads!

We strongly believe that since the launch of this technology, our tracking technology is one of the most robust solutions available in the market today.

When you add this technology to our 5 day cancelation period (something that is unique in the market), our auto-accept on all programmes and the fact that we act as a financial buffer, paying affiliates before being paid by the merchant, it goes a long way to showing why a number of affiliates prefer to use AffiliateFuture links when a programme is on dual networks.

If anyone has any questions on this tracking (or any other aspect of AffiliateFuture) then please get in touch.
