A Little something for everyone… 
So it’s that time of year again, when AffiliateFuture plan the infamous “Barbados Trip” and merchants rack their brains to come up with incentive criteria for their sponsored place…
Well – the great news is that we are sending 6 lucky affiliates to Barbados this year and have tried very hard to make sure that there is an incentive suitable for everyone.

Goes to the affiliate who brings in the most cash….!
Now you may think that this one isn’t for you… possibly worried about going head to head with the bigger sites, driving more volume…. Well, do not fear!
Its not all about the amount of bookings you know, it can also be about the “type” of booking – i.e., where its going to, type of board basis, amount of passengers etc etc. All of these little things add up!
You could easily be in with a chance of winning, by simply promoting the Long Haul destinations (Caribbean to name one geo area), Medium Haul destinations (Egypt, Morocco etc), All Inclusive holidays, Luxury 4&5* holidays and family holidays (more passengers) – all of which have higher booking values and here’s the thing – these type of holidays are also massively in demand! You can even go down the “Euro busting holiday’s route”…

…Is dedicated to the affiliate who makes the best effort to improve.
So this isn’t about the amount of bookings or revenue you deliver, this is about narrowing down your activity, channelling your customers to the most relevant place on sunshine.co.uk and improving your conversion.
There are loads of ways to do this. If you are promoting a specific hotel, send the customer to that hotel and if you are promoting a resort, again – send them to that resort.. Deep linking is the single most effective way of improving your conversion – and we have all the resource to help you do that. Again – go to Affiliates – sunshine.co.uk and grab whatever you need.
In order to calculate the “most improved affiliate”, we will compare your conversion rates from the period of the incentive (13th March – 30th April 09) to your conversion rates for the same period in January and February.
And that’s it! 6 places, 6 incentives and 6 chances to win! You are not restricted to the amount of incentives you go for, but you can only win one place!

Terms and conditions:
All incentives kick off on Friday 13th March and finish on 30th April 2009.
If you are working on an incentive where submission of a blog page or site promotion is required, you MUST send details of said blog/promotion to us by midnight on 30th April.
All entries will then be assessed and winners determined.
For the prize draw entries, bookings will be drawn at random on 1st May2009 and winners notified shortly after. Don’t forget – 1 sale = 1 entry!
Winning affiliates must be in possession of a full British passport, and be able to make own travel arrangements to the departure airport in the UK.

What Monster Travel can offer you as a valued affiliate?
- Flight and Hotel (Tailor made – build your own holidays)
3% commission. With an average booking value of £1100, average commission earning = £33 per booking. Dynamically packaged holidays equate to 60% of all online bookings.
- Hotel Only
6% commission. With an average booking value of £450, average commission earning = £27. Hotel only equate to 10% of all online bookings. We are unable to automate additional commission at this stage – therefore, if you customer books a hotel on its own, we will bonus your account for the additional 3%. Please note: bonus payments will be collectively calculated at the end of each month, and credited before the payment run.
- Package (Tour operator packages)
3% commission. With an average booking value of £1100, average commission earning £33. Tour operator packages equate to 30% of all online bookings.
Note: Monster Travel are paying an extra 1% on flight + hotel and package holidays until 30th April 2009 on bookings departing prior to 30th Sep 2009.
Affiliates, who go the extra mile, may be invited to join the bonus programme. If you would like to be considered for this programme, contact Victoria.mcquillan@affiliatefuture.co.uk with details of your site and proposed/current activity and Monster Travel will review your application.
Voucher Code Sites
Monster Travel offer a separate programme for voucher sites, with a closed user group discount code. Commission for this programme is lower than the standard programme, however utilising voucher codes, will increase conversion.

The extra 1% commission is also applicable to the voucher programme until 30th April 09.

Incentives and promotions
Here at Monster Travel we really want to look after our affiliates. Not only is there an extra 1% commission up for grabs on flight & hotel (Tailor made hols) and traditional package holidays – until end April 09, but there is also a chance for one lucky affiliate to win a place on the infamous Affiliate Future Barbados trip.
In order to be in with a chance of winning, all we ask is that you place a monster travel creative on your site and/or a text promotion for the duration of the incentive, directing traffic to www.monstertravel.co.uk . Each sale you deliver will then be entered into the pot, to be drawn at the end of the promo. 1 sale = 1 entry.
The promotion starts on 12Th March and finishes at 12pm on 30th April 09.
The winner will be draw at random on 30th April 09 and their site checked for promotion – If its there, we have our winner!
