Our new Voucher Code system is live
Friday, August 1st, 2008Over the past few weeks our developers have been beavering away and re-developing our voucher code system for the new v2 interface.
For those that were unaware, AffiliateFuture were one of the first network to introduce a Voucher code system back in 2003, allowing merchants to publicise their codes for affiliates to distribute. Back then affiliates using Voucher codes was not as popular as it is today and because of the way it was developed only certainly merchants and affiliates had access to this functionality.
So to bring things back into 2008 we have redeveloped and now re-launched this tool within our new interfaces.
Merchant Tools
For Merchants, adding a voucher code is a quick and easy process that is done on a programme level basis. Just browse to the Programmes section (make sure you use the new tools) and select Voucher Manager (see screenshot).
Select “Start Adding Vouchers” and you will see the Management tool in action! In this section you can add the Name, Description, Code, Landing Page, Start/End Date and even make it exclusive to one of the affiliates signed up to your programme.
Clicking Add will automatically make it available to affiliates.
Affiliate Tools
To access the new tool you’ll need to login to version 2 of the interface and select Programmes > Voucher Manager.
There are a few different ways to browse through codes here - either by the Directory, View all, View latest or View Expiring.
Below is the directory view:
To view the vouchers for any specific category just click on the links and you’ll see something like this:
Within this section you can take the codes & your affiliate link. It also lets you directly sign up to programmes that you may not be a member for currently (and with our auto-accept policy you’ll be able to promote them straight away).
You can also export all the vouchers for merchants that you are affiliated with and within the next few days we’ll be launching an XML file and webservice which means that you can integrate this technology to automatically update your site. An RSS of all the codes will also be available soon.
