Day one of the UK’s biggest and best affiliate marketing incentive has just finished so we thought we’d write a quick blog post to keep you up to date with all the thrills and spills from the paradise island.

We only managed to leave one person behind in the UK after their car broke down on the motorway…..twice!  Luckily they will be joining the group of winners later on today; just in time for Harbour Lights!

A sleepy bunch of affiliates, merchants and AffiliateFuture staff met at Gatwick Airport at 7am on Sunday morning to catch the 10am flight across the pond.  It went off without delay and after an 8 hour journey filled with plenty of in-flight entertainment (or sleep if your name is Sinéad) we touched down in Bridgetown just after 1pm.

Celebrating the arrival with some world famous local Banks beer and a cheeky rum and coke or two we all checked in and spent some well earned time downtime by the hotel pool.

In the evening we all went out to a local steak house where Steve from UKWebMedia managed to eat a 20oz steak (which was about the size of a cow) and we sampled a few more of the local tipples.

With jet lag kicking in most of us called it an early night but AffiliateFuture staff were on hand to ensure those that wanted to continue in The Ship (a bar across the road) were able to do so.

It’s now 11am local time and today will be spent with lots of education seminars by the pool…honest…
